Using Linux - Bash shell programming 101

So I am going to start posting some links to various entry level tutorials, guides or overviews for all the Bold Voices taking on the open source command ship that is the Linux system.

One of the first things you will want to teach yourself is the use of the terminal command line interface, AKA "The Shell"

One of the standard shells is named BASH - the Bourne Again Shell. This overview I am linking to is by the originator of the Gentoo distribution, and is very well written and highly informative in the use of the shells programmatic abilities.
