The California initiative
The California initiative that banned gay matrimony in California, called Proposition 8, was overturned by Judge Vaught Walker leading to a hold on new unions occurring to get a hold. The same sex matrimony hold was extended today by him also. The ruling is likely to be appealed by those against Prop 8.
