Posting in SS is a privilege, not a right. Our Social Stream rules are:

1. All posts made under your user name are your responsibility. Think before you post. Be thoughtful in your choice of words. What you intended to say may not come through clearly to others. In reading posts, give the poster the benefit of the doubt.
2. Threats, profanity, racist language, argument, and inappropriate comments are not allowed. Posters who engage in them will be banned.
3. Do not engage chat abusers (i.e. do not feed the trolls). Anybody who refers to trolls will be banned.
4. When classes are in the room, stop chatting and allow moderators to engage the class.
5. Do not discuss politics, religion, or sports. There are places to talk about them, but this is not one of them.
6. Do not post personal information (e.g. age, gender, personal location).
7. Do not post strings of several emoticons, smileys, or random characters.
8. Do not post in all caps; it is like yelling.
